Policeman drops grenade in Venezuelan Supreme court .

Reports say a police helicopter was seen circling over the city before shots and a loud bang were heard.

In an address from the presidential palace, President NICOLAS MADURO said the helicopter had flown over the Supreme Court and also the justice and interior ministries.

The attack comes amid regular criticism of the Supreme Court by the Venezuelan opposition for its rulings which strengthened President NICOLAS MADURO’s hold on power.
