OLUWASEGUN, who spoke in interview with our correspondent in Port Harcourt, recounted that he was invited from Lagos for a job at Igwurita in Ikwerre Local Government Area of Rivers State.
He said his abductors claimed they had a building that needed his services, which involves interior ceiling finishing, only for him to end up in the hands of kidnappers.
The victim said he realized he had been deceived after ?a man led him to a location at Igwurita where he was seized by eight youth in arms.
The man from Lagos said he was held in the den of the kidnappers for close to a week, during which he was tortured by his abductors.
He said it took the intervention of the police for him to be rescued without paying any ransom.
