Police operatives in Ondo State have rescued an abducted woman and recovered her vehicle following a gun battle with suspected kidnappers.
The rescue operation was carried out after security personnel engaged the armed suspects in a fierce exchange of gunfire, forcing them to abandon the victim and flee the scene.
The police said the victim was rescued unharmed, while her stolen vehicle was successfully recovered during the operation.
