A statement by the command’s Public Relations Officer, Nnamdi Omoni revealed that the Okama of Ikuru Kingdom was rescued from a forest in Abissa in Akuku Toru Local Government area of the state where he had been held in captivity by his abductors.
The statement noted that his release was as a result of a robust synergy between the Nigerian Police and the Navy.
In the meantime, the Rivers state commissioner of Police, Friday Eboka has visited the Monarch in his palace where he narrated the effort of security agents leading to the release of the paramount ruler.
