Chukwuka, who is the former Public Relations Officer of NBA in Port Harcourt, made the call at the closing of the sitting of the Judicial Commission of Inquiry into Police brutality, murder and Violation of fundamental Rights in the state.
He said the whole exercise will become a mere academic exercise if compensation is not paid to victims.
On his part, another Lawyer, Ekitoni Amiofori insisted that it was not enough for the setting-up of the commission but ensuring that justice is served on those found culpable of police brutality.
