Police arrest 2 women for child trafficking in Port Harcourt

Two of the women, Roseline Nwokocha and her sister, Chioma both from Abia state were first arrested in the course of allegedly negotiating the purchase of a 2-week old baby.

 

In a video, now viral on social media, Roseline  confessed that the business was not her first time, and confirmed that the last time she came to Port Harcourt to buy a baby, her sister, Chioma also accompanied her.

 

She confessed that the previous child she bought cost her N1.1m, while she was negotiating to pay o N1m for the new transaction, with the agent allegedly promised a share of N50,000.

 

The Rivers state Police Command is yet to react to the latest development.
