Men of the “See Four Eye” Unit of the Rivers State Police Command intercepted the teenage suspect at a checkpoint around Igbo-Etche.
A senior police officer who confirmed the incident to our correspondent said the policemen led by NOBLE UWHOH made the arrest after they received information about the kidnap of one DESTINY GABRIEL from Umuoma Edegelen.
The police officer alleged that the suspected kidnapper was apprehended on her way to Abia State with two-year-old DESTINY GABRIEL.
He further said the suspect revealed upon interrogation that she was taking the child to her uncle in Abia State, and that the incident was her second time.
Our correspondent also gathered that the yet-to-be named uncle of the suspected teenage kidnapper has been apprehended by the authorities in Abia State.
