Plateau Government Relaxes Curfew in Jos North

The Plateau State Government has relaxed the 48-hour curfew earlier imposed on Jos North Local Government Area following the violent attack in Angwan Rukuba. Authorities said the decision was taken after security agencies reported a return of relative calm in the affected area.

In a statement issued by the administration of Governor Caleb Mutfwang, residents were informed that movement restrictions would now be eased to allow gradual resumption of normal activities. The government emphasized that security forces will remain on ground while monitoring compliance with the adjusted curfew hours to maintain peace.
