The Rivers State Chairman of PETROAN, Francis Dimkpa in an interview with correspondent, Ifunanya Obeme-Ndukwe, said marketers have remained in the proposed margin by PPMC despite increase in price.
Dimkpa said the funds used in procuring a truck of petrol is twice the volume of fund used for the procurement of a truck in the past, using the same twelve naira margin proposed by PPMC, saying that remaining in the proposed margin puts the marketers at a loss.
Dimkpa however said PETROAN members who still have old stock are not in a haste to increase the price of petrol, just as he pleaded with the customers to bear with petroleum marketers.
