Addressing a press conference in Abuja, Obi said he will explore all legal avenues to recover his mandate.
The former Governor of Anambra state said the 2023 presidential election is arguably the most controversial in the country’s history.
Obi encouraged his supporters not to view the outcome of the election as the end, but a beginning.
He asked Obidients not to be discouraged, urging them to take part in the governorship elections on March 11.
Obi further appealed to Nigerians to remain peaceful and law-abiding throughout the process.
Meanwhile; the Presidential Campaign Council of the All Progressives Congress has accused the Labour Party Presidential Candidate, Peter Obi of attempting to delegitimize the mandate given to its candidate, Bola Tinubu.
This followed Obi’s claim that he won last Saturday’s presidential election and would explore all legal options to reclaim his mandate.
The Tinubu/Shettima Campaign Council in a statement signed by its Director of Public Affairs and Chief Spokesperson, Festus Keyamo, described Obi’s claim as outlandish.
That APC PCC claimed that there was no way OBI could have won the election, having played the most divisive religious politics in the history of Nigeria.
The APC campaign council further said OBI should embrace the hand of fellowship and brotherhood extended by the President-elect as a committed patriot instead of engaging in what he described as a crass grandstanding.
