People from Kalabari Communities Occupy Premises of Multinational Company in Port Harcourt

Our correspondent UCHENDU EJIOWHOR reports that the protesters want the company to provide employment for their people and develop their communities.
The aggrieved Kalabari people are also demanding that the company engage them in its surveillance jobs and professional operations.
The leaders of the protest, including ODUM SOBERESUA and FUBARA IGONIKO complained that they decided to occupy the company’s premises because the management had failed to give them a listening ear.
Our correspondent reports that no official of came out to address the Kalabari protesters after several hours of occupying the entrance to the premises.
