Ayu made the comments while addressing participants at the National Convention of the party in Abuja.
The former senate president, who was the consensus candidate at the party’s 2021 national convention, got three thousand four hundred and twenty affirmative votes out of the total three thousand five hundred and eleven accredited voters.
He said the PDP was back to take over, develop and unite the country.
