Speaking in a joint conference on behalf of the Peoples Democratic Party, the Labor Party and the African Democratic Party in Abuja, the National Chairman of LP, Julius Abure, said there are inconsistencies in the results announced by the electoral body and the party agents.
Abure said INEC compromised the integrity of the election even before collation began at the polling unit.
The LP National Chairman therefore called on the National Chairman of INEC, Professor Mahmood Yakubu to step aside as the Chairman of the Commission, for someone with credibility outside the commission to oversee the rest of the process going forward.
On his part, the National Chairman of the PDP, Iyorchia Ayu said the results were allocated, making reference to the result of Bauchi and Gombe states, where he alleged that the results for the PDP and the Labor Party are similar.
