Today FM gathered that Pillar, who is reportedly a resident Pastor of a new generation Church in Rundele community in Emohua Local Government Area of the state, was arrested, following a compliant by one Amesi Thankgod who is an in-law to the fifteen year old girl.
Thankgod in an interview with Today FM said the teenager usually goes to the church, whenever her mother leaves the house.
He said his wife who is the elder sister to the teenager had noticed she was vomiting and took her to a clinic, where it was confirmed that she was pregnant and upon interrogation, the teenage girl revealed how the pastor had threatened to kill her if she told anyone.
Meanwhile, the National Coordinator of Human Rights advocacy Group Centre for Basic Rights Protection and Accountability Campaign, PRINCE WIRO has called for a thorough investigation into the incident, urging the Police to carryout their investigation without bias or sentiment.
