Panel of Judges drawn from Nigeria,Sierra leone to handle Gambia Presdential Polls dispute.

This was made known by the presiding judge of the Gambian Supreme Court when the petiti

on filed by the ruling party, challenging the election defeat of President YAHYA JAMMEH came up for hearing.

Chief Justice EMMANUEL FAGBELE adjourned the case because there were not enough judges.

Justice FAGBELE said the court would reconvene on 10th January to hear the matter, which seeks to have the election result in favour of opposition candidate, ADAMA BARROW, annulled.

The Chief Judge also ordered for the electoral commission to be served immediately because it was not represented in court.
