Over Sixty People Quarantine In Kano Due To Fear Of Monkey Pox Outbreat

The Commissioner for Health KABUL GETSO confirmed that those in isolation had made contact with a suspect monkey pox patient, who had been receiving treatment for chickenpox.
GETSO told newsmen that samples have been collected from the patient and sent for laboratory analysis to determine if there was an outbreak of monkey pox.
So far, out of ninety-four suspected cases of monkey pox in different parts of the country, only six have been confirmed, and all of them are in Bayelsa State where the disease was first reported.
