Oscar Pistorius’s 6 years murder sentence not to be re-visited

The prosecutors now have one more step to complete the legal huddle, which involves appealing to the Supreme Court of Appeal within twenty-one days.

They had argued that the sentence imposed on PISTORIUS was too lenient, even taking into account the athlete’s disability.

But Judge THOKOZILE MASIPA refused to grant the prosecution leave to appeal the sentence she handed to the athlete last month for murdering his girlfriend, REEVA STEENKAMP.
