The committee was set up following a motion raised under Matters of Urgent Public Importance by EDWARD IBUZOR of Onitsha North Two, at an emergency plenary in Awka, the state capital.
According to IBUZOR, the committee would ascertain the cause of the fire and recommend remedial measures to prevent future occurrence.
