The Special Assistant to the President on National Assembly matter, Senator ITA ENANG confirmed the development on a television program monitored from Port Harcourt.
The Presidential Aide however noted that the Presidency has been in communication with the National Assembly over the transmission of the document.
He blamed the delay on the bureaucracies of the National Assembly but expressed the hope that the executive would receive the budget before close of work today.
Senator ENAN however did not give a clear answer on who would assent to the budget when it is transmitted to the Presidency.
