One dead as Aircraft carrying relief materials in South Sudan crashes.

The cargo aircraft was contracted by the United Nations’ World Food Programme and it crashed while attempting to during a thunderstorm.

 

The plane was on a mission to airdrop food, but hit a tree and the metal roof of the house, causing it to lose its main landing gear.

 

WFP South Sudan Country Director ADNAN KHAN has assured that the UN would provide support to the grieving family.
