But the absence of the accused persons forced the judge to adjourn the matter to 5th of October to take the plea of the accused person.

But the state prosecution counsel, GODWIN OBLA, argued that the criminal Law does not stop an accused person facing murder charge from standing trial in a different court.
In her ruling, Justice LAMIKANRA warned the Federal Comptroller of Prisons and the Deputy Comptroller of Prisons not to test the resolve of the court, as she ordered that the accused must be brought to court on the next hearing.
Speaking with newsmen outside the courtroom, the state counsel, GODWIN OBLA ?said his team was ready to commence trial.
