We gathered that the youths held a vigil on the protest ground on Monday night in compliance with their threats to sustain the protest until their demands are met.
The action of the protesters were said to have grounded economic activities in the area and also prevented vehicular activities.
Some leaders of the protest including Kpobari Nseghe and Dowell Kpado who spoke to newsmen on the protest scene wondered why the federal government has neglected that section of the road for so long, despite its economic importance.
