The All Progressives Congress says it is holding the Rivers State Government responsible for the killings on Monday.
State Chairman of APC, Chief DAVIES IKANYA said the killings marked another sad moment for members of the party in Rivers State.
Chief IKANYA noted that one of the murder victims, BORIS NEENWI was a prominent member of the APC.
He also gave the names of the other victims as MANAGER NKOBA, NORNUBARI LOVEDAY and the lady, CECILIA LOVEDAY.
In a separate reaction; Senator MAGNUS ABE called on the Inspector General of Police to ensure that the killers of the four persons around Nonwa-Tai do not go unpunished.
In a statement released by his spokesman, PARRY SAROH-BENSON, Senator ABE said until his death, BORIS NEENWI was his strong supporter who always stood his ground against criminality and all forms of molestation.
Senator ABE, who is the APC candidate in the yet-to-be rescheduled rerun election in Rivers South-East Senatorial District, expressed the hope that an unbiased investigation would unravel those behind the dastardly act and restore public confidence in the security agencies.
