The move is being made by the Ogoni Chamber of Commerce Industry, Mines and Agriculture in collaboration with the Rivers Entrepreneur and Investors Forum.
Speaking at an event organized by both groups, the President of the Ogoni Chamber of Commerce Industry, Mines and Agriculture, Adoage Norteh said the business summit seeks to attract international collaboration across international boundaries and other investors in Nigeria
Norteh said investment is the only way to reduce poverty in the country, create employment to move the state forward and encourage development in the region and the country.
Also speaking, the Chairman Organizing Committee, John Yowika, said Ogoni Chamber of Commerce is trying to get their people to move into agriculture, away from oil and gas.
