According to documents filed at the Rivers State High Court sitting in Port Harcourt, ODILI is accusing the Director General of the Nigerian Maritime and Safety Agency of defaming his character.
The defamation lawsuit came up today before the State Chief Judge; Justice ADAMA IYAYE-LAMIKANRA and was adjourned till 27th October for cross examination of witnesses.
The lead prosecution counsel, KANU AGABI who is a Senior Advocate of Nigeria, told newsmen outside the courtroom that the action is in response to certain publication made by DAKUKU PETERSIDE against his client.
