Obasanjo, who spoke in Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital, said leadership is a lasting virtue that endures until the end of one’s life, stressing that once the issue of poor leadership is resolved, the country will get other things right.
He also stressed that the current leadership must rise to its responsibilities to create a better world for all citizens.
The former president further challenged Nigerians to seek, by all means possible, an end to the culture of enthroning transactional leaders as against transformational leaders who will deliver good governance.
