This follows the arrest of some suspected human traffickers and drug smugglers whose ship was arrested on the sea by men of the Nigerian Navy.
The suspects were allegedly trafficking some persons alongside a yet to ascertained quantity of drugs out of the country.
Today FM’s Uchendu Ejiowhor who is part of the ongoing operation reports that three persons were arrested and would be prosecuted after the operation.
In the meantime, the victims of the human trafficking have been returned to the Nigeria.
