State Chairman of NUPENG, LUCKY ETUOKWU issued the strike threat while briefing newsmen the Rivers State capital, Port Harcourt.
ETUOKWU alleged that soldiers posted to different locations in Port Harcourt and Elele have formed the habit of forcibly obtaining twenty litres of petrol and twenty-five thousand naira from petrol tanker drivers before they are allowed to drive to their delivery destination.
The NUPENG Chairman said tanker drivers who refuse to comply with the purported demand by soldiers are made to face bullying.
