The NUAHP membership includes all health workers, with the exception of Medical Doctors.
Among other things, the union is demanding the payment of arrears in compliance with an order of the National Industrial Court on 22th July, 2013.
The union had in April suspended its industrial action following the intervention of House of Representatives.

However; a source within the leadership of the Health Workers Union, who declined from speaking on record, told our correspondent that the federal government was yet to fulfill its part of the agreement entered with the union.
