The training of the NSCDC personnel is being facilitated by Germany’s Konrad Adenauer Stiftung nongovernmental organization.
The officials were led by the Director of the NSCDC in charge of Crisis Management, EMMANUEL ADEOYE who stood in for Commandant General, ABDULLAHI MUHAMMADU.
ADEOYE underscored the need for capacity building as an important component of security operations, adding that? the NSCDC would partner relevant stakeholders to ensure peace and stability in Nigeria.
On the facilitators of the NSCDC training; HILDEGARD KIGOZ?I, said the intensive five-day would go a long way to introduce the personnel of the corps to the latest mediation and conflict prevention skills.
On his part; the President of the Institute of Chartered Mediators and Conciliation, EMEKA OBEGOLU, stressed the need to go back to the main objective for the establishment of the NSCDC.
