Neighboring South Korean officials said the first launch was
considered to have failed, as it travelled about one hundred and fifty
kilometers before landing in the sea.
However; second missile, which was launched hours later, flew about
four hundred kilometers and reached an altitude of one thousand
kilometers.
The BBC reports that South Korea’
s Joint Chiefs of Staff confirming that an in-depth analysis of the
second missile was being conducted together with the United States
authorities.
