Pyongyang officials alleged that the assassination plot was being handled by the CIA, with US and South Korean agents.
The ministry of state security in the reclusive country said a terrorist group backed by the CIA and South Korea’s intelligence agency had entered the country to attack with a bio-chemical substance.
However; the North Korean officials vowed to find and mercilessly destroy the supposed terrorist infiltrators.
The accusation comes amid heightened tensions in the region, with frequent missile test by North Korea and increasing military exercises by the United States.
