This is contained in a capital importation report recently published by the National Bureau of Statistics.
The report which details the value of fresh investments that flowed into the Nigerian economy in 2020 listed twenty-five other states that failed to attract foreign investments into their states.
The other twenty-five states are; Bauchi, Bayelsa, Benue, Borno, Cross River, Delta, Ebonyi, Edo, Ekiti, Enugu, Gombe, Imo, Jigawa, Katsina, Kebbi, Kogi, Kwara, Nasarawa, Ondo, Osun, Oyo, Plateau, Taraba, Yobe, and Zamfara.
Meanwhile; Nigeria’s commercial city, Lagos attracted $8.31bn in investments, representing 85.7% of the total capital inflow into the country.
Abuja emerged second top investment destination with $1.27bn, while Abia State came in third with $56.7bn.
The other five destination of capital investment in Nigeria in 2020 are; Niger State; Ogun; Anambra; Kaduna; Sokoto; Kano; Akwa Ibom and Adamawa States.
