The Rivers State Chairman of NMA, Doctor Ebi Robinson said it is commendable that Governor Fubara is committed to improving health services in the state as innumerated in his budget presentation.
Doctor Robinson sought for a collaboration between the state government, stakeholders in the health sector and the community to protect and support government in achieving the laid down objectives for the health sector in the state.
The NMA Chairman called on communities to protect health facilities and health care providers in their communities, and end the kidnap and harassment of health care providers.
The Rivers State Government in its 2024 budget, allocated thirty billion naira for the health sector in the state.
