This was contained in the statement released by the NJC containing names of justices it recommended for appointment by Governors of Rivers, Nasarawa, Kogi, Jigawa, Ebonyi and Delta states.
Justice Amadi’s recommendation comes as the current Chief Judge of Rivers state, Adama Laminkanra is due for retirement in May this year.
In the meantime, the NJC has recommended the appointment of twenty six judges across the federation.
In a statement issued by its spokesman, Soji Oye, the council also issued a strict warning to two judges.
According to the statement, the NJC took the decisions after a meeting held on March 17-18 under the Chairmanship of the Chief Justice of Nigeria, Justice Ibrahim Muhammad.
