This is because the meeting of the NJC at the Three Arms Zone at the Presidential Villa in Abuja yesterday failed to reach a consensus, just like the first day of the emergency meeting on Tuesday.
Reports say after several hours of discussions, the National Judicial Council headed by the Chief Justice of Nigeria, adjourned inconclusively.
However; before convening the meeting; the CJN, Justice MAHMOUD MOHAMMED had described the arrest of judges by the Department of State Security Service as regrettable.
