This was the observation of the Rivers State Area Manager of the
Nigeria Postal Service, DANSO OLAYINKA on the occasion of the
2016 World Post Day held in Port Harcourt.
The Area Manager however noted that the Nigeria Postal Service
hopes to use the new media to its own advantage in providing
effecting services for Nigerians.
OLAYINKA who was recently redeployed from Plateau state to
Rivers State also urged the staff of the Postal Service in remain
committed in carrying out their duties.
On his part, the former Chairman of the Rivers State Chapter of the
National Union of Postal Telecommunication Employees WILLIAM
ADAH said the celebration was aimed at creating awareness
about the existence of Postal Services in Nigeria.

every year is marked as World Post Day.
