NIMASA’s Director of Special Duties, External Relations and Technical Cooperation, LAMI TUMAKA who handed the materials to officials of National Emergency Management Agency, NEMA in Port Harcourt said the gesture is part of directives of the federal government on its agencies.
TUMAKA who handed the materials on behalf of the Director General of NIMASA, DAKUKU PETERSIDE said it is in the culture of NIMASA as a responsible corporation to share in the pains of the people when necessary.
South South Zonal Coordinator of NEMA, WALSON BRANDON-IBRAKUMO commended the federal government agency for the relief materials and assured that the targeted victims will receive the gesture within a shortest period of time.
