Nigerian Police Retirment Alert- AIG Joseph Mbu and others Retired

JOSEPH MBU, who was an Assistant-Inspector General, was compulsorily retired from the Nigeria Police Force along with twenty other AIGs.

MBU and the other retired AIGs were all senior to the Acting Inspector-General of Police, IDRI IBRAHIM before he was elevated by President MUHAMMADU BUHARI.

A.I.G. JOHNSON OGUNSAKIN who was in charge of Zone Six in Calabar was also affected in the compulsory retirement, as well as AIGs PATRICK DOKUMOR, EDGAR NANAKUMO, BALA HASSAN and BABA-ADISA BOLANTA.

Others are A.I.Gs YAHAYA GARBA ARDO, DANLADI MSHEBWALA, IRMIYA YARIMA, MOHAMMED GANA, UMARU ABUBAKAR MANKO, LAWAL TANKO AND OLUFEMI ADENIKE,

Also retired compulsorily are A.I.Gs ADERENLE SHINABA, JAMES CAULCRICK, OLUFEMI OGUMBAYODE, KALAFITE ADEYEMI and IBRAHIM RINGIM.

The retirement of the senior police officers was announced in a statement from the Police Service Commission, which was signed by the Head of Press and Public Relations, IKECHUKWU ANI.

The statement quoted the Chairman of the commission, Sir MIKE OKIRO commending the retired AIGs for their meritorious service to the nation.

Sir OKIRO also wished them well in their future endeavours.
