The move followed the killing of three military officers by suspected militants around Nembe creeks in Bayelsa State yesterday.
A military spokesman, Lieutenant Commander, A. AHMED confirmed in a statement obtained by newsmen that the deadly attack happened around 10AM.
The statement noted that the Commander of Operation Delta Safe, Rear Admiral JOSEPH OKOJIE deployed a reinforcement team to apprehend the militants behind the attack.
The JTF Commander also warned that his men would go on offensive to fish out criminals in the region.
