The Acting Director of Defence Information in the Ministry of Defence, Brigadier General RABE ABUBAKIR stated this during a media briefing in Port Harcourt.
ABUBAKIR and his team arrived Port Harcourt today as part of their transformation tour in all the geo-Political zones across the Country.
He said the essence of the visit is to ensure cordial relationship with the media to enhance National security.
The Director Defence Information also dismissed speculations that the Military aided some Politicians to rig the Last rerun election in Rivers state, adding that disciplinary action has been taken against officers who were found culpable.
Correspondent LEVI ISU reports that the Military team which arrived Bayelsa yesterday are expected to continue with the tour to other parts of the Niger Delta region.
