Group Captain AYODELE FAMUYIWA, who is the Director of Public Relations and Information of the Air Force, said the destruction was carried out during a night operation.
In a statement, Group Captain FAMUYIWA said the new Boko Haram camp is close to another camp that was raided earlier by NAF Mi-17 helicopter on 20th August.
He also said Air Force Alpha Jets have helped to repel an attack by Boko Haram terrorist on troops of 153 Battalion who were on fighting patrol at Ala Lumshe.
The Nigerian Air Force spokesman said the troops came under attack last Saturday at about four kilometers south of Marte when the Alpha Jets were called-in to dislodge the insurgents.
