Nigeria has signed an agreement with the Italian government on intelligence sharing, capacity building and logistics support to enhance the operations of the Nigeria Police Force.The Inspector General of Police, SOLOMON ARASE and the Italian National Police Chief, ALESSANDRO PANSA signed the agreement for both countries.President MUHAMMADU BUHARI and the Italian Prime Minister, MATTEO RENZI were also present to witness the signing of the agreement at the State House in Abuja.The Presidency said the signing of the agreement was part of bilateral discussions between the two leaders, which covered energy, security, agriculture, immigration, human and drug trafficking, infrastructure and education.
