Last week the service sacked seventeen junior officers for drug abuse, bribery and forgery.
In a statement by the spokesman of the service, WALE ADENIYI the senior officers were sacked after a disciplinary panel found them guilty of offences bordering on corruption and theft.
ADENIYI explained that four of the officers were of the rank of deputy-comptroller; five assistant-comptrollers; seven chief superintendents and four superintendents among others.
He said the process leading to the actions taken on the officers was painstaking and in line with the public service rules.
