The decision was reached following the supervision of the observer group constituted by the NBA President OLUMIDE AKPATA with membership majorly drawn from different NBA branches in Edo State.
The group observed that the presence of police security and military appear to have calmed nerves of political stakeholders and their agents, adding that there was no incident of violence in the last 48 hours before Election Day.
The NBA also noted that the provision of materials was adequate in the circumstances of the elections conducted in the different units and the materials were available in over eight per cent of the Polling units as and when due.
