The affected areas in the operations of yesterday morning include Lagos Street and Abuja General Area.
The Assistant Director of Army Public Relations at the Two Amphibious Brigade in Port Harcourt, Captain LAZARUS ELI, said one hundred and forty two suspects were arrested during the raids.
However; Captain ELI said most of the suspects were later released after profiling, while fifteen suspects are being interrogated and would be handed over to relevant security agencies for further investigation.
In the meantime; the Two Brigade of the Nigerian Army is conducting a ‘Show of Force’ as part of what the Nigerian Army has tagged ‘Exercise Crocodile Smile’, which started over the weekend.
Following the development; members of the public are enjoined to continue to provide security agencies with credible information that would assist in the arrest of criminals.
