Newcastle Won’t Wait For Isak Before Signing A Striker –Howe

Newcastle manager Eddie Howe says he’s optimistic the team will sign another striker regardless of Alexander Isak’s transfer situation.

Isak, who is currently on strike at the club, recently released a bombshell statement in which he described his relationship with Newcastle as “broken,” alluding to “broken promises.”

In a chat with the club’s website ahead of tonight’s Premier League clash against Liverpool, Howe has made it clear that Newcastle United will not be left without a recognised striker.

“I don’t think the club will allow that situation to happen.

“We certainly can’t go through the season with no recognised striker at the football club — and that’s no disrespect to Will Osula.

“I think he’s doing really well and progressing really well, but he’s got limited experience in the Premier League.”
