The Director General of NEMA, MUSTAPHA MAIGAJI made the observation in television programme monitored from Port Harcourt.
MAIGAJI said the development has in recent times over stretched the agency while calling on state governors to ensure the improvement of the capacity of the state agencies.
The NEMA boss also disclosed that the agency has been liaising with the state emergency management agencies in a bid to ensure that their capacities were developed.
