The Registrar of the Council, Professor Godswill Obioma, made the announcement.
Obioma, disclosed that a total of forty one thousand, four hundred and fifty nine candidates registered for the examination, out of which thirty nine thousand, five hundred and three actually sat.
Professor Obioma explained that a total of twenty six thousand, two hundred and seventy seven candidates obtained five credits and above including English Language and Mathematics while thirty four thousand, fourteen candidates also obtained five credits and above irrespective of English Language and Mathematics.
He disclosed that six thousand, four hundred and sixty five cases of examination malpractice were recorded in the 2020 SSCE External as against seventeen thousand, four cases in 2019.
