The NDDC made the announcement amidst the shutdown of its operations as a result of COVID-Nineteen.
Acting Managing Director, Professor BRADIKUMO PONDEI, declared that the interventionist agency was making available seven hundred and seventy-five million naira to support the nine states under its mandate while another two hundred and seventy million naira will be to fast-track the establishment of isolation centres in the twenty-seven senatorial districts across the region.
The NDDC said it would contribute in the area of treatment because most of the activities so far had been on prevention.
